Sounds in The Square 2008

'Sounds in The Square' brings live music in the town's Market Square every Saturday throughout July and August. Supported by businesses and the town council, it has proved hugely popular since members of what is now H2A launched it in 2006.

Nathan & Quinn (formerly ‘The Badgers’)

Gypsy Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic and Western Swing – they’re all wrapped up in the unique sound of Shropshire’s leading folk and roots duo, kick starting the Sounds season

Shropshire Male Chorus

Shropshire Male Chorus began life as Sankey’s Male Voice Choir during the Second World War. Come and see why they’re still going strong after almost seventy years.
